This used bike has been demoed for a season and has been inspected by one of our professional bike techs. If you would like additional photos, please request them at info@switchbacksports.com. Blizzard 23/24 Black Pearl 88 Women's

The Blizzard 23/24 Black Pearl 88 Women's skis have been an absolute game-changer for me. As a middle-aged skier, I appreciate how well these skis balance versatility and performance. The 88mm waist gives them the perfect blend of stability and agility, making them fantastic on both groomed trails and softer snow. The ski’s precision and quick edge-to-edge response have made carving a joy, while the lightweight feel reduces fatigue during longer days. The only downside I’ve noticed is that they can feel a bit stiff in deep powder, but overall, they’re incredibly responsive and forgiving for my skiing style. For those looking to tackle more powder, the Blizzard Black Pearl 97 offers a wider, more floaty option that excels in deeper snow. Highly recommend the 88s for intermediate to advanced skiers!

Really great skis

It had been 30 years since I last skied, and I wasn’t sure what to expect. But the moment I clipped into the Blizzard Brahma 88s, I was hooked. They were smooth, stable, and responsive—cutting through the blizzard like they were made for it, pun indented. All my doubts melted away, and I was reminded of how much I’d missed this. The Brahma 88s made me feel like I was flying again, and just like that, I was back in love with skiing.

Volkl Blaze review

As a skier in my mid-40s, I appreciate a ski that offers both performance and comfort, and the Volkl Blaze 86 delivers on both. It’s incredibly light and responsive, making it easy to navigate varied terrain without feeling fatigued. While it’s not the best for deep powder, it handles everything from groomed runs to lighter off-piste snow with confidence.
